Status: CONFIRMED FEDERAL RECALL ROUNDUP. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission listed 18 recalls dated August 13, 2026. The notices cover about 602,000 products by the unit counts published in the federal records. That total is approximate because several notices use “about,” and one includes additional Canadian sales.

The fastest checks involve products linked to reported injuries: Goody King magnetic cubes, G Taleco Gear baby jumpers and swings, Cooluli minifridges, Brookstone tabletop fire pits, and Merax Murphy beds. Consumers should use the linked CPSC notice for the exact model, remedy, and proof requirements.

Five recalls with reported injuries

Goody King magnetic building cubes and blocks: CPSC says about 213,500 sets can break open and release high-powered magnets. Two children reportedly swallowed magnets and needed surgery. At least 27 reports involved cubes breaking or opening. The remedy is a full refund and prepaid return. Check the Goody King notice, recall 26-686.

G Taleco Gear baby products: About 41,100 baby jumpers, swings, and two-in-one products are recalled for fall, impact, and strangulation hazards. CPSC lists at least 52 reports and at least 32 injuries, including head bumps and a bloody nose. The remedy is a refund. Check the Taleco Gear notice, recall 26-688.

Cooluli 10-liter and 15-liter minifridges: About 250,000 units can short circuit. CPSC reports at least 19 incidents involving smoke, sparks, burning, melting, overheating, or fire. Reported property damage exceeds $80,000, and one consumer reported smoke inhalation. Batch numbers 1535 through 1545 and 1200000 through 1202080 are included. The remedy is a replacement power cord and AC-port cover. Check the Cooluli notice, recall 26-685.

Brookstone tabletop fire pits: About 48,700 alcohol-fueled units can produce uncontrolled pool fires or flame jetting. Two incidents caused two injuries, including second- and third-degree burns. The remedy is a refund. Check the Brookstone notice, recall 26-687.

Merax Murphy beds: About 1,250 full- and twin-size beds can fall during assembly or disassembly. CPSC reports two falling-bed incidents and two injured consumers. Models GX000392AAK, GX000391AAK, and GX000383AAK are covered. The remedy is a repair kit, inspection guidance, and a professional installer at no cost when a built bed is found to be assembled incorrectly. Check the Merax notice, recall 26-694.

Child ingestion, choking, and entrapment hazards

Fuel, fire, electrical, and crash hazards

Model and label checks that can prevent a false match

The brand name alone is not enough for several of these recalls. Cooluli’s notice covers 10- and 15-liter minifridges with two rear power ports, an internal power supply, and no brick-style adapter on the removable cord. The batch number is on the label inside the door. Covered batches run from 1535 through 1545 and from 1200000 through 1202080. The Infinity, Classic, Glow Beauty, and Vibe series appear in the notice.

For Goody King, the affected magnetic cubes were sold in sets from 45 to 300 pieces. Covered model codes include ZB150, DK100, GC150, DIN100, FM100, FF100, FR200, PX200, FR300, GL100, MR200, FR150, MG100, MA200, SI150, SB56, TSB56, MR045, UN100, UN150, VF200, and WD100. CPSC says the code is on the back of the package. These sets were sold on Amazon from January 2024 through July 2026.

G Taleco Gear’s notice identifies baby jumper model jumper-01, baby swing model swing-1, and two combination jumper-and-swing versions marked jumper-01. The model appears on the fabric care label sewn into the seat cover. CPSC says the products were sold through Amazon, Walmart, and Taleco Gear from April 2021 through July 2026.

The Hampton Bay notice covers Halwin fan models AK396H-MBK and AK396H-BN. The matching UPCs are 840059614922 and 840059615370. CPSC says the identifying label is inside the mounting plate and also appears on product materials. A consumer should not climb or disassemble a mounted fan while it is operating. Turn it off and follow the company’s recall directions.

Brookstone fire-pit models BSFIREPIT01, BSFIREPIT02, and BSFIREPIT03 are included. Their UPCs are 680079015930, 680079015947, and 680079015954. They were sold through Macy’s, Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, Indoff, iBuy, Newton Buying Corp., and online sellers. Stop using liquid-alcohol units covered by the notice rather than trying to improvise a safer fuel or fill method.

Marketplace accountability matters after the recall

Many of these products moved through large online marketplaces. The Merax beds appeared on Amazon, Home Depot, Wayfair, Walmart, Target, Overstock, Temu, and other sites. The DUMOS dresser was sold on Amazon. The youth ATVs appeared on Amazon and Walmart. A federal recall notice should trigger more than a listing removal. Buyers need direct notice, a working remedy, and a clear way to identify orders sold under alternate brand names.

Consumers should preserve an order number, receipt, product label photo, and messages with the seller. If a listed company does not provide the announced remedy, CPSC’s recall pages offer a recall-complaint route. That record can help the agency measure whether a remedy works in practice.

How to use this roundup

Do not destroy a product until the official notice tells you what evidence the company requires. Several refunds require a photograph, a cut cord, a marked product, or a return label. Follow the CPSC instructions so a remedy is not delayed.

No reported injury does not mean no hazard. It means the federal notice listed no injury report when published. Product owners should match model, batch, SKU, and purchase channel before acting.
