The visible caption asks, “Bayside Miami, FL Who is he?” The reel includes a man at a bar or counter and a later surveillance-camera segment.

BadPD is publishing this initial report because the video is circulating widely and because a public record should separate what can be verified from what is being alleged online. We are preserving the original post link and timestamp, but we will not name a person shown in the footage, call anyone a suspect, or publish an unverified crowd identification. • The post also tags @onlyindade and contains both a close-up scene and a surveillance-camera sequence.
• Hard Rock Cafe Miami identifies its restaurant as being at Bayside Marketplace. Local 10 reported on June 24, 2026 that the cafe address is 401 Biscayne Blvd.
• BadPD checked the City of Miami’s released-records portal on July 29. It did not locate a matching current incident release, public BOLO, arrest affidavit, or court filing tied to this video.

What is alleged online but not yet confirmed

Posts and comments connected to the reel make serious allegations about an employee injury, the conduct that preceded the incident, the response by a manager, the status of the man in the video, and the actions of other people at the location. Some commenters also describe the man as claiming military-veteran status.

As of publication, BadPD has not obtained an MPD incident report, medical record, body-worn camera, venue incident log, attributable witness statement, or on-the-record Hard Rock response that confirms those claims. Nor has BadPD found an official Miami Police announcement stating that the department has issued a manhunt or a public identification request. An active online search is not the same thing as an official law-enforcement notice.

That distinction matters. It protects an injured employee’s account from being buried under rumor, protects the public from a mistaken identification, and lets the eventual record show whether the venue and police response met the moment.

The request will also seek the report number, the alleged offense, the suspect description used by investigators, and the current case status.

The same record trail can answer whether officers encountered witnesses or companions, what they were asked, and whether any legal basis existed for additional detention or charges. BadPD will not declare that an obstruction charge should have been filed without the officers’ reports, video, and the applicable facts.

Questions for Hard Rock Cafe Miami

Hard Rock Cafe Miami should preserve all relevant surveillance, point-of-sale and incident records, manager logs, staff schedules, security communications, and any ejection or refusal-of-service record. The documents can establish whether staff knew about earlier disruptive conduct, whether a manager was notified before the reported incident, what intervention was attempted, and when law enforcement was contacted.

BadPD is requesting a factual response from the venue. Until it answers and the records are released, it would be irresponsible to state as fact that the company knew a guest was violent or failed to protect an employee.

This page will be updated with a City of Miami request number when the records request is filed, with any official MPD release, and with an attributable response from Hard Rock Cafe Miami.
